Golden Isles Sports Enhancement and the Golden Isles Track Club have partnered to bring this program to life, combining coaching expertise, community reach, and athletic development experience to create a structured, safe, and consistent training opportunity for local youth.
Program Mission
To provide a fun, safe, and educational introduction to running and athletic movement that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong enjoyment of the sport — while building the foundation for future success in track and field, cross country, and other sports.
Program Objectives
Introduce youth ages 8–18 to the fundamentals of running, sprinting, jumping, and racing.
Develop physical literacy, coordination, and confidence in a positive, team-based setting.
Educate athletes on healthy habits, injury prevention, and goal setting.
Create a sustainable system for identifying and developing future competitive track and XC athletes within the Golden Isles community.
Foster collaboration between local schools, families, and athletic organizations to strengthen youth participation in sport.

The total for the program is $75. This includes the 10+ hours of instruction and a program t-shirt!

Athletes 8 years old and older are allowed, and up to 18 years old. We accommodate different skill and development levels and coach these athletes accordingly.

Running specific shoes are useful but not necessary. However, we do require some sort of athletic shoe; no crocs, slides, flip flops, slippers or spikes are allowed.
No other equipment is required (i.e. watches, heart rate monitor etc.)

Yes! Feel free to drop your athlete off, stay and watch, or grab a coffee! We will have a low coach to athlete ratio in order to keep the learning, and safety, on point.
